A Glimmer of Hope

Another old pic I found while browsing on my sketches I remember painting it on an Aquarella Block back then, and I had problem in painting the dress of the woman.

Then, a friend of mine called me and as we talked, I told him about the painting and the dilemma I had. He told me, "My favourite colour is blue." and then I replied, "Really? Mine's turquoise!" And so I decided to put our favourite colours in the painting, and this came out! It's much better coloured on Photoshop than with water paint, seems much more clear.

Back to the topic now, I don't actually know how come I did the sketch, it randomly came into my mind. In the block where it's painted, the background is completely black and there's no light, like in this picture.

But then I thought, "Why don't I put a light in here, so as to fill the emptiness a bit?" and so I put the light
